How does FawnGuard work?
FawnGuard uses Apple's Family Controls framework to provide native-level parental controls on iOS devices. Parents install the app on their own device and pair it with their child's device to manage screen time, app access, and web content.
Is FawnGuard safe for my child's device?
Yes. FawnGuard operates within Apple's official Family Controls API, which is the same framework used by Apple's own Screen Time feature. It does not jailbreak or modify the device in any way.
Can my child bypass FawnGuard?
FawnGuard includes bypass detection for common techniques like VPN usage, profile removal, and date/time manipulation. Because it uses Apple's native framework, it cannot be simply uninstalled by the child.
What iOS versions are supported?
FawnGuard requires iOS 16.0 or later on both parent and child devices. For the best experience, we recommend iOS 17.0 or later.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone, find FawnGuard, and tap Cancel Subscription.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app: Settings > Account > Delete Account. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
